Once again, we were the proud sponsors of the 7th annual Middlewich Heritage Photo Competition. After whittling down hundreds of entries, the judges chose their finalists, whose images were then proudly displayed at the Middlewich Folk and Boat Festival.
Kathleen Hill, defeated her competitors achieving ‘Overall Winner’ status, her photograph titled, ‘In the Thick of it’, impressed the judges, securing her a double win in the overall and general categories.
Kerry Fletcher, the competition organiser and Middlewich Town Council heritage officer said, “There were hundreds of fantastic photographs entered, and the quality of the entries seems to be getting better and better each year. Well done to everyone who entered the competition, and thank you to everyone who took part.”
Our director, David Hubbard presented Kathleen with her trophy along with Muriel Dale who scooped the People’s Choice Award for her entry, No 77 Bridge.
